Frank Saccomandi
Mayor. Engineer. Reads the fine print.
“A flier on my windshield told me the town was planning income-segregated housing on the contaminated dump. I ran for office to protect future residents. With your support, we did.”
Frank and his husband Jerry built their home in the Hartshorn section, drawn by the peaceful setting and easy commute. He is Chief Technology Architect of an aviation software company he and Jerry run together, building crew-scheduling systems for the world's largest airlines. The work balances thousands of competing demands against hard limits, resolving them into one schedule that works for as many people as possible. He approaches Township government similarly.
Elected to the Township Committee in 2023, Frank has served since January 2024, first as Deputy Mayor and now as Mayor. Frank spearheaded the Citizens Advisory Committee on Affordable Housing, opening the town's planning process to the public for the first time.
Frank holds a BA in Political Science from Bates College. Say hi to him when checking out at the rummage sale, or at the gate to the Rocktoberfest Beer Garden.
